The 2007 Spinax SS489 reunion will be held in Charleston, SC.

Spinax has a block of 35 rooms plus a conference room and a hospitality room.

Room rates are being negotiated, but it looks like the price will be $79.00 per night plus taxes.  I say negotiated because at the moment we don't have a signed contract with them.

Hotel is located approximately two (2) miles north of Charleston International Airport

FACILITY: 197 one-bedroom standard units.  Four (4) stories, interior/exterior corridors.  PARKING: On site.

AMENITIES: Steam irons, hair dryers.  DINING: 6-10:00am & 5-9:00pm, cocktails.  POOL(S) Small outdoor, small heated indoor.  LEISURE ACTIVITIES: Whirlpool, exercise room.  GUEST SERVICES: Valet and coin laundry, airport transportation.  BUSINESS SERVICES: Meeting rooms, business center.  CARDS: AX, CB, DC, DS, JC, MC, VI

The Charleston airport is co-located with the Charleston Air Force Base.

 

This is the first info from your reunion committee and I take full responsibility for the lack of it.  However, we are working in your best interests and this get together next year will be the best so far.  Stand by for further updates.
 

One thing I'd like to have added when you put that reunion info in the newsletter.  The two guys doing the grunt work and who got the info are Gary Wagers and Terry "Snake" Whitecar.  I am just the messenger.  Yes, I got the specifics about the hotel, but they did the contact work and the proposal from the hotel.  It's very important to me that they get credit for the work they've done so far.
