Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

From the editors and publishers of the Spinax Newsletter!

Well, here we are again....another Christmas Season is upon us.

I wonder if any of you have noticed that there aren't as many Christmas displays in the store windows, or that Santa's are becoming a little more scarce. Even great American establishments like McDonald's are spouting "Happy Holiday Cheer" or some such nonsense, instead of the good old "Merry Christmas." Especially lacking is any traditional songs that dare mention God or Jesus. After all, we can't certainly can't offend all our non-christians, legal or otherwise.

Maybe someday Christmas will be outlawed altogether and forced underground.

Knock on a door in a filthy back alley, and show your forbidden red stockting to the blooshot eye that looks out at you. Upon entry, you will be presented with an Elf mask. Doning this you enter a small room with muffled music playing scratchy Christmas carols. You squeeze into a crowded booth with other "Elves" and sit waiting. Nobody is talking. The only sounds are the carols, and an occasional burb, scratch or fart. The air is heavy with the smell of dirty bodies and egg nog.

But beneath the quiet lies the desperate fear and exitment of forbidden pleasures. Is the Elf next to you actually an "ASS?" (Anti-Santa Squad) that has infiltrated your cell?

Maybe the little old lady with the large pointy ears is in realilty a member of "LOROATRRHS" (Liberals and other religions of America that really, really hate Santa). or even the dreaded "OFFDANCER" (Official Fanatic Faction Determining all Neo-Christian Events as Racist)

...Well, I was going somewhere with this, but forgot where. I guess it's for the best as this newsletter is not really the place for me to be venting.

So I will go over to my families house for the coming of Santa and the opening of presents, drink my eggnog, play with the kids and just enjoy!

Hope you all do the same!

Merry Christmas

I only got 4 responses to my making a new SPINAX Calendar for 2006. I needed about 50 for me to commit to the project.

To the 4 who wanted them.....I'm sorry, but I just can't afford to make them if not enough people want them.

Many thanks to this months "Booster Club" supporters

Jack O'Connell

Jay K. Davis

Bob Stratton

Thanks for helping to keep the Spinax spirit alive and well!

..And speaking of JK the Insurmountable...

I have just received a photograph from my sources in Seattle.

It seems that our beloved Captain Davis has been mistaking for Doral Davis, CS1(SS) and has been recalled for cooking duty at the local retired Captain's Club.

Either that, or he has enlisted his services at his favorite Kirkland McDonalds.
