The lady's luncheon  is set for Sunday afternoon the 28th at the Milano Restaurant, a short walk from the Hotel.

The basic schedule is:

 
- Friday 26th, check in and meet in the hospitality room.
 
- Saturday 27th, business meeting at 1000 - slides, then back to the hospitality room.
 
- Sunday 28th, business meeting at 1100, ladies lunch at 1200, Arabia tour at 1400, hospitality room
 
- Monday 29th, business meeting at 1000 - slides, hospitality room. 1800 meet at Hereford house, diner at 1900 until  2300.

Here is a breakdown of some of the costs for the Reunion:

- Hotel room: $99.00 per night
- Banquet:
(Monday 29th at 7pm) $70 per person which includes banquet dinner (the actual cost for the meal is $55.00 with tip and tax. It will be a buffet consisting of four entrees, all you cat eat, plus the usual vegetables, desert and coffee, etc. This also covers the cost of the room, sound system and bar tender. Any money remaining goes in the fund after the reunion)
- Ladies luncheon:
Order from menu
- Hospitality Room is a BYOB operation - but will have a tip jar - maybe
$25.00
- Still working on tours and stuff! (Ideas welcome)!


We're planning on having a raffle and/or silent auction at the KC reunion. So ANYBODY that has a Spinax memento or submarine items that they would care to donate we would like to have them! All proceeds, of course, go to the Spinax Slush Fund.
If you do have something to contribute, please contact  Bruce Taft with a description of the item.

We expect to have a all hands meeting on Saturday and Sunday for B/S session, slide show, cold refreshments and, oh yes, business.

DINNER:

Everything is set for our dinner a the Hereford House.  We
have a fabulous sound system set up and we plan a great evening of fun, food & entertainment ...  the way we use to do it ... SPINAX STYLE!1
 

Buffet dinner with choice of 3 entrees.  Guests may choose to
sample any or all of the following:

 

1. Chicken Lyonnaise

2. Prime Rib

3. Cedar Planked Salmon

4. Choice of 2 Vegetables, Asparagus, or a Medley

5. Rice Pilaf

6. Baked Potato

7. Non-Alcoholic Beverages in a Coffee/Tea Station

8. Dessert Table with Petit Fours and Fresh Berries

9. House Green Salad and Classic Caesar Salad, with Dressing in Boats on the Side

10. Appetizers of a Cheese and Fruit Display at No Charge

 

Two (2) Bars will operate throughout the evening to service guests on a cash basis for cocktails, beer, additional wine and sodas.

 

 
STEAMSHIP ARABIA TOUR:  If you plan to take the 4 -5 hour Steamship Arabia Tour Sunday afternoon, please let Frank Lydell know soon (f_lydell@msn.com).  The cost is $49.00 per person.  We need a minimum of 33 people signed up.  Please send checks (made out to "Spinax Reunion/Arabia Tour") to Dave Hinkle at same address above.
 
MEMENTOS: Don't forget to bring your Spinax Mementos to the reunion.  We will display them in the Hospitality Room.
 
AUCTION:  If you have any items you want to donate for the auction, please let Frank Lydell know so we can get things ready.  Proceeds go to the Spinax Fund.
 
HATS, MUGS, ETC:  If you want to order Spinax Hats, Mugs, Shirts, etc. for the reunion, time is short.  Please contact Gene Williams @ mmcmssret@aol.com or (918) 357-1055 so he can place the order with The Submarine Store.  Proceeds go to the Spinax Fund.
