Dad said he served on the USS Spinax from 1958-1963.  He became an EM2SS.  He later retuned to the Phillipines and was assigned to the USS Sea Fox (1964)  then went on Shore duty Dec. 1964  Newfoundland, Canada.  In 1966, he was stationed at Naval Station Norfolk.  In 1967, he served on the USS Requin.  1968 Key West, FL.  1969 Great Lakes, Illinois Class B School.  1969-1972 Rota, Spain served on the USS Holland AS32 Squadron (CPO).  1972-1975 Groton, Connecticut Submarine Engineering Support Facility.  1975-1977 USS Forrestal.  Dad retired after serving 20 years in the Navy and 17 years Civil Service.
