Life Afer Spinax:

SERGIO ALEX GUERRA QM3 (SS):

After I left the Spinax I went back to live with relatives in Los Angeles, Cal. I got a job with a trucking company as a driver. While I was trying to get my bearings (Talking like a good Qm.). I got a brochure urging me to use my GI Bill to get an aircraft pilot license, I got a commercial and instrument ratings (the whole time I always kept in touch with Dennis Birdsell and his family, and did fly to Rio Vista, Cal. Where all his family were brave enough to climb in the plane with me. Thank God, everybody survived). After a vacation in my native country I got a job there flying as a crop duster pilot, dusting cotton plantations for about 10 years. I did log over 6,000 hrs of flying time, before all of that happen let me tell you that finally met the woman of my dreams, a beautiful Guatemalan, her name ARABELLA, married her 28 years ago and we have a boy 26 years-old his name Sergio and a girl 24 years named also Arabella. After many years of getting a load of pesticides decided that it was plenty amount of it for my health so I called quits. I became a salesman for Castrol oil but things werenít going well for us, decided to move back to good old USA.

For the last 10 years we have been living in the Tampa Bay area FLORIDA in a small town called Largo and me and my wife have a small "Mexican Cafe (Los Amigos)" located at the beach in the gulf of Mexico at John's Pass village in Madeira Beach, Florida. One day I got the surprise that Ed Kolesar from the Spinax come into my place, he did not recognize me until I told him who I was and his reply was "I knew you were from Guatemala, your nickname was Greek but I did not expected you as a Mexican!"
